I think Nory is a strong person because she le Patch have a chance and leave to America. Even though he didn't want to go, he needed a chance to get away from the potatoe famine. If he stays he will just get hungrier and hungrier. Nory is a survivor because she thinks about everybody first. She thinks about getting everyone food while she is still hungry. She is surviving because she believes, that's what makes her a survivor.
Nory is a strong character and a survivor because she is surrving the potatoe famine so far.Nory also was brave and got the sea bird eggs.Nory also sent Patch to America.
I think Nory is strong because she takes care of Anna and patch.I also think that Nory is strong because I know it was hard for her to give her only ticket to America to Patch and that must be hard for her.
Some of the strong things Nory has done are... She wanted Patch to go to America, when that was a golden opportunity to go to America. Nory conquered her fear of Anna by asking for the coin. Nory did not try to stop Celia from going with Granda from finding da. She was starving and she went on the cliffs to find food,even though she knew that's how Anna's son Tague died that way.
She let patch go to Brooklyn before she did.She went out on the rocks instead of letting Sean red .She also told Anna she would trade her the limpets and mussels for the milk when anna gave it to her
Nory is a strong person because she went to get the eggs and when the bird attacked her she didn't let go of the rope. Another thing Nory did is when the Mallon's said they had a extra ticket to America she said Patch would go.
Nory is storng because she was getting eggs on the cliffs and she knew Tague died that way also,she was willing to send Patch to New York with Sean Malion. Nory is a survivor because she is surviving the potato famion and she survived getting the eggs on the cliff.
Nory is a strong person because she had Patch go to America.So Patch would have a better life and get food. Nory is a survivor because she tried to take the eggs to eat.And she is trying to get food any way she could for patch and herself.
Nory is very brave because she went down on a rope to get eggs for food.Nory is risking her life to get food .Nory is also very brave because she let Patch go to NY city to see Maggie instead of Nory going.
Nory is a survivor because, she just climbed down a cliff to get eggs for her family and friends. She also went to Cunningham's stream to get fish.When Nory was pushed and fell down on a ground, and had her head split open, she didn't yell in pain or agony. She just layed there, seeing the man running away with the package and the food
Nory is a strong character and a survivor because she climbed the cliffs to get bird eggs and eat them , knowing she could fall like togue did. She is a survivor because she helps other people survive because she helps them and gives to other people with no hesitation. Also she gave patch the ticket to America so he could have a chance to have food.
Nory is strong by giving up her trip to America with Sean Red and his mother, she is also a strong survivor by giving up health, food and so on. She sent Patch away so he can be healthy and have food. She also didn't want to leave Anna.
I think that Nory is a strong person because she gave Patch her ticket to America because it would be better for him. It also shows she kept her promise to Anna by not leaving for America. She also went down the rocks for eggs. She could have died but it was all for Patch.
