5^th Grade Fundraiser Reminder

Just a friendly reminder that all TCBY, Five Guys and Hoffman car wash gift certificate sales are due on Monday December 3^rd. Make sure that all checks are made out to Westmere Elementary School. Please note that you will be given a photocopy of your order forms when we send home the gift cards. This is our only fundraiser for the field trip, so all sales are greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you!

Book Orders

Scholastic book order forms were sent home today. All orders are due by Wednesday November 28th, please place your order on-line by clicking the link below. Or, place your order on the paper order form and send in with your child along with a check made out to Westmere Elementary.

Heritage Project

We are so excited to start our Heritage project and can't wait to have you join us for the Heritage Celebration on Thursday December 20th at 8:30. Students were given ample time in class to gather information in their research packets. Now that they are done with the research they can begin drafting their ideas for the poster boards using the Heritage Draft sheets. Once they are done with their Heritage Draft sheets they can submit them to me for approval. All Heritage Draft sheets are due by Monday December 3rd along with the Sketch of their Poster boards. Since we have finished our in class research for the project we expect that students will now begin the independent portion of this project at home for homework each night. Remember the Poster board and speech are due on Tuesday December 18th. Please click on the links below to access important documents for this project.
